ABOUT ME
Erika Perez Roa
Hi! I’m Erika Pérez Roa, an animal photography with over 9 years of experience in the field. From a very young age, I was passionate about photography, but it was my dog Layka who came into my life and inspired me to specialize in pets.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a wide variety of animals, from our beloved canine and feline friends to horses and exotic birds, both in studio settings and outdoors. My goal has always been to capture the essence of each animal and their unique relationship with their owners, so they can have a lasting memory of their furry friend.
My work has given me the opportunity to travel throughout Latin America and the USA, photographing many people who love their pets and want a forever memory with them. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a large number of artists, immortalizing special moments with their beloved companions.

The style of photography I try to maintain is fresh, vibrant, and full of life. I strive to capture each moment and emotion authentically and beautifully. My images reflect the love and connection between animals and their owners, and how the latter value and care for their pets.
In addition to my passion for photography, I’m also an animal rights advocate and work with non-profit organizations to create awareness about the importance of protecting and respecting all living creatures. I also collaborate with animal shelters and do photography sessions for adoptable animals, with the aim of helping them find loving homes.
In summary, my passion for animals and photography come together in my daily work. I love capturing the beauty and personality of these wonderful beings and helping create awareness about the importance of caring for and respecting the animal world.
